List of departmental citizen centric services along with their existing internal process flow and citizen side delivery system.


The time frame for providing service to the public,disposal of subsidy cases/release of assistance under various schemes which are being implimented in horticulture department is fixed as under:-

i) Horticulture Development Scheme


        

Services:

 

  1. Supply of Fruit Plants and elite plant material from registered Govt. and Private nurseries


  2. Supply of horticulture inputs


  3. Establishment of new orchard (Individually or as Garden colony)



        

Incentives and Subsidy:


  1. Establishment of individual orchard: 50% to SC/ST/IRDP, 25% to Small farmers, 33.33% to & Marginal farmers maximum limit-Rs. 3000/-


  2. Establishment of garden colony: Combined Fencing, Plant Protection equipments, Irrigation facility-75% to S/C, 50% to Small/marginal and backward area farmer Land development, Plantation, Other orchard management operations: 50% to S/C and backward area farmer, 25% to small farmer, 33.3% to marginal farmer and nil to other farmers. Maximum limit- Rs.18000 (for 2 ha.), Rs. 36000 (for 4 ha.).

        

Hops cultivation Services:

ii) Plant Protection Services:

 


  1. Supply of pesticides and plant protection equipments


  2. Release of bio agents in farmers’ fields


        

Incentives and Subsidy:



  1. 50% to small/marginal farmers and 30% to Big farmers


  2. Release of bio-agents in farmers field-free of cost


    

iii) Horticulture Farms & Nurseries Services:


  1. Serve as Model demonstration centres for modern horticulture technology


  2. Production of elite plant material at Government registered nurseries


        

Incentives and Subsidy: Free Demonstration



    

iv) Horticulture Training & Extension Service Services:

 


  1. Training of Farmers through short term training camps and training courses


  2. Exposire visits of farmers within and outside the state.

  3. Organisation of seminars and workshops .


        

Incentives and Subsidy:



  1. 1 day village level trainings- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer

  2. 2 day block/distt. Level trainings- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer

  3. 10 day study tour within state- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer +Free travel and lodging

  4. 15 day study tour outside the state- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer +Free travel +lodging restricted to Rs. 50 per day.



    

v) Development of Beekeeping Services:


  1. Supply of improved strains of bee colonies with hives

  2. Supply of bee colonies for pollination on rental basis.

  3. day practical Training in beekeeping- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer Incentives and Subsidy :-7 day practical Training in beekeeping- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer .

    

vi) Development of Floriculture Services:

 


  1. Supply of elite planting material .

  2. 4 day practical Training .


        

Incentives and Subsidy:



  1. 4 day practical Training in Floriculture - Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer

  2. Supply of plant material, seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, equipments on 25% to small farmers and 33% to marginal farmers.


    

vii) Development of Mushroom Services:

 


  1. 10 day practical training in mushroom cultivation

  2. Registration of trained farmers as mushroom growers

  3. Production and Supply of pasteurized mushroom compost from departmental units

  4. Availability of quality mushroom spawn

  5. Transportation facility of mushroom composte


        

Incentives and Subsidy:



  1. 10 day practical training in mushroom cultivation - Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer

  2. Registration of trained farmers as mushroom growers-free of cost

  3. Supply of pasteurized mushroom compost from departmental units- 25% to small/marginal farmers, Unemployed Graduates, 50% to S/C,S/T and IRDP farmers.

  4. Transportation facility of mushroom compost-100% transportation subsidy upto road head near mushroom farm .



    

viii) Fruit Processing Programme Services:


  1. Community Canning Service .

  2. Processing of fruits and vegetables .


        

Incentives and Subsidy:



  1. 2 days Training in Home scale preservation of Fruits and vegetables.

  2. Processing of Fruit products under community canning service on nominal rates. .

  3. 2 day practical training in Home scale preservation of Fruits and vegetables - Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer.

    

ix) Marketing & Quality Programme Services:

 


  1. Survey of Markets under market intelligence scheme .

  2. 2 days training in post harvest management/ Picking, grading and packing of fruits .

  3. Procurement of Fair average quality fruit (Apple, Citrus and Mango) under Market intervention scheme


        

Incentives and Subsidy:



  1. Procurement of Fair average quality fruit (Apple, Citrus and Mango) under Market intervention scheme at minimum support price fixed by the Government from year to year.

  2. 2 days training in post harvest management/ Picking, grading and packing of fruits- Rs.45.75+5.00 per day per farmer.
